About the Journal

The International Electronic Journal of Algebra (Int. Electron. J. Algebra) is published twice a year (January - July). IEJA is reviewed by Mathematical Reviews, MathSciNet, Zentralblatt MATH, Current Mathematical Publications.

Scope

IEJA seeks previously unpublished papers that contain:

  • Module theory
  • Ring theory
  • Group theory
  • Algebras
  • Comodules
  • Corings
  • Coalgebras
  • Representation theory
  • Number theory

IEJA also features special issues devoted to advances in the aforementioned areas of algebra and proceedings of selected high quality conferences.

Peer Review

Peer review-also known as refereeing-is a collaborative process that allows manuscripts submitted to IEJA to be evaluated and commented upon by independent experts within the same field of research. IEJA uses single-blind review, which means that the reviewer's name is not disclosed to the author, throughout the review process.  Peer review works in the following way:

•    Author submits the manuscript to IEJA.
•    IEJA editors screen the manuscript.
•    They reject after screening or send to reviewers for evaluation of the manuscript.
•    After editors assessment of  the manuscript reviews:
         Accept with/without revision,
         Reject with/without revision.

Open Access Statement

IEJA is an open access basis since 2007. We offer a broad range of author options, enabling authors to publish their material in quality open access journals with a high degree of peer review integrity. Everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of papers published in IEJA; papers are freely available without subscription or price barriers.
